Fabulous cottage with everything you need This cottage was perfect just off the main road but so quiet. Plenty of space to sit, eat and relax in the evenings and had everything you needed. A wonderful welcome package to start the holiday in the best way fizz on ice! and a very friendly hostess. The beds were comfortable. The water hot when it needed to be. The hot tub relaxing. There is even a stone built BBQ. Sky tv was an unexpected bonus and meant the football could be watched. The sports field opposite meant the boys went off to play football and there were some good walking running routes around as well. Overall this was one of our favourite places we have stayed. Plenty to do in the local area and the pub just across the road was friendly and a great place to chill for a couple of hours before tea time. Local shop had everything you needed and more. There was also a butchers which had a fabulous selection of very nice meat.

Brillant holiday home, had everything you needed to feel at home. Lovely welcome food hamper that meant we had something for breakfast, tea, coffee and prosecco on ice was very welcome!! Hot tub was excellent and very clean, BBQ area was great and used twice whilst we were there. Log burner was lovely to use on a evening and the sun room was great for our grandaugther to have her crafting stuff which we did on the table and sofa. Lovely stay and likely to return!

Just WOW. This cottage is simply outstanding. It is extremely spacious, well equipped and immaculate. The decor is very quirky just to our taste and the added addition of hot tub and log burner, especially in December were just a brilliant. The owner was there to greet us with a lovely warm welcome. Fantastic midweek break at The Old Wagon Shed. Lovely accommodation, immaculately clean, seemed atleast partly refurbished recently, good layout with lots of little rooms to relax in. Helen the owner is so welcoming and proud of the site, there is a decent sized communal garden that is immaculate. Virtually silent at night with only 2 rented cottages on the site. If you're accustomed to a big site that is noisy, busy, cramped and run down then this is a breath of fresh air. Shops and pubs 30 mins walk, lots of sleepy activities within 20 mins drive several sea side towns, a country house, a retail outlet etc.

Had a lovely holiday at the Wagon Shed. Everything was top quality, the beds were so comfortable it was an effort to get up of a morning! The hot tub was super and well used and the 'goody box' was very welcome along with the chilled Prosecco. Leven is a lovely village and a good spot for visiting other places. Helen was absolutely fabulous and made our holiday brilliant. The Old Wagon Shed is so well placed with lots to do in the area and we filled our week with Hull, Hornsea, Brid and the local childrens farm for our toddler. The house was perfect for a family holiday and the hot tub a lovely adult bonus! I couldnt recommend it highly enough and thank you to Helen for all the extra touches and make it so special for all of us. A place to remember for sure.

We were met by the owner Helen on arrival we got a lovely welcome and were shown round the house and how everything worked. There was Prosecco on Ice, fresh bread, scones , butter, free range eggs and in addition there was also some other cupboard essentials which was a lovely touch. Great base for travelling in and around York. Village locals were very friendly and welcoming and even the dog didnt want to come home! Nothing was too much trouble for Helen and Lee hope to visit again in the future.

Myself and my friends went on a girls relaxing weekend away after all needing a break from work. The cottage was amazing, exactly what we needed. The owner was very approachable and went above and beyond to add all the little touches to make the stay perfect such as a bottle of Prosecco which was much appreciated! Lovely place to stay. It was spotless, bed linen good quality and the beds were very comfy. The hosts Helen and Lee are lovely and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Hot tub was an absolute hit with us girls, as was the log burner in either lounge. Wifi could be a bit hit and miss, but didnt affect our stay at all, as we switched to 4g.

Amazing holiday! We stayed in JulyAugust 2021 little late reviewing! and had the most wonderful time. Helen was super helpful over the phone prior to arriving and there to greet on arrival. Nothing was too much to ask and all of her little touches contributed to our wonderful time. The property looks even better than the photos in real life, comfy, clean and very well attended. The hot tub was lovely, checked and cleaned everyday and there was every amenity and utensil we could think of . A real home from home and will certainly return, as well as recommend to others.
