King's Cottage Reviews

A gorgeous Christmas Retreat. The perfect place for us to enjoy a Christmas break, decorated for Christmas with a fabulous tree, and extra treats for us which were much appreciated!
This was our 7th time at King's Cottage, our yearly tradition! We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here, the location is perfect for visiting many areas of the Yorkshire dales and surrounding areas! The property is well maintained and the hot tub is always great!
This is a Beautiful cottage, in a lovely little village . Its warm and cosy with added bonus of a fabulous hot tub. We would definitely stay here again , only 1 little negative comment would be more bowls , cutlery would be great but its not a deal breaker . We had a fabulous weekend here and would certainly recommend this beautiful place.
Maxine
My daughter & I absolutely loved Kings cottage. We just cannot fault it. We stayed for 4 nights and didnt want to go home. It was so cosy, homely, warm & comfortable. The beds were so comfortable too. The location was perfect for us. We loved going out walking in the daytime & coming home to the lovely hot tub in the evenings. Definitely want to come back here again. Thankyou so much for our wonderful stay.

We had a lovely stay here, would definitely recommend to others. There is lots to do nearby & we went to lots of interesting places. The hot tub was fab & the cottage is lovely & clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend you read where it is in the description as we took a while to find it
Lovely 3 night stay, especially with the hot tub. Thankful for the bread, milk, butter and bacon. Cottage is a little run down and missing little essentials, like wine glasses, and also the kindsize bed needs a make over, the mattress is very dipped!
The cottage is a wonderful home from home. We really enjoyed our break and appreciated the welcome goodies and the fact that the hot tub was so clean and welcoming. It's worth noting that the dining table is raised with bar stools as the only dining seating option, so this might not be suitable for everyone.
Beautiful and relaxing accommodation. Had everything we needed and more.
The only one little niggle would be that when it was dark there was no lighting outside , making it difficult to see where you were walking. but the property was emaculate upon our arrival. the arrival pack was a really nice touch.
Absolutely fantastic stay, everything was brilliant and just a little thing like ... Absolutely fantastic stay, everything was brilliant and just a little thing like a welcome pack blew me away, highly recommend
Lovely cottage really enjoyed our stay like home from home everything you need ... Lovely cottage really enjoyed our stay like home from home everything you need in the kitchen an through out the rest of the cottage ,hot tub definitely got some use in the nice kept garden ,think the property could do with a new back door its rotten at the bottom with a wobbly outside door handle also there was a few cobwebs through out the place but this didn't spoil our stay ,will definitely use this place again
We had a fantastic weekend here. The house is even better than it looks in the photos and extremely clean.
Had a lovely two night stay with friends. The cottage is beautiful decorated to a high standard and very well equipped.Loved the hot tub which was well maintained and ready to go as soon as we arrived. Great location and good instructions to get there. A lovely little hidden gem.
