Swift At Mels Cottages is a three-bedroom single-storey barn conversion in Newton-on-Rawcliffe, a small village less than 5 miles north of Pickering in North Yorkshire. This is a proper converted barn open beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and a large fireplace give it real character. It sleeps 7 and sits right on the doorstep of the North York Moors National Park.
The village is quiet but well-placed. Cropton Forest is just 3 miles north. Whitby is 18 miles away and you can reach it by steam train through the moors. Scarborough is 23 miles with two sandy beaches and a castle.
