We were looking enough to find this place and what a place it is. It is amazing from the moment you open the door, clean not a detail missed a home from home. The owners are extremely helpful making arriving and the stay seamless. The views from the outside area over the lake are unbelievable and a bag of swan feed in the lodge gave an amazing experience to feed the swans that are just feet away from you. We will definitely be back. Words don't do this justice see for yourself you won't be disappointed.
I was expecting everything to be first class due to the price paid. However the pans were in a shocking condition and after complaining to the owner we were told to buy more ourselves at Tescos. I don't think this is an acceptable solution at all especially after travelling a couple of hours with 2 babies. The lodge was booked specifically because it had 3 bedrooms so that the babies cots could be errected however we had to stack the single beds on top of one another to make room for the cots. In previous accommodations this is done by staff. The hot tub had two settings on the jets, mild and even milder, very disappointing as when booking a hot tub you expect jets to massage your aches and pains. The children's play ground that is advertised is on another site. No shop on site. Overall the holiday was marred by the constant reminder to check and report faults and the do's and don'ts list. There was a few faults with the lodge which I didn't notice on first inspection so then i was worrying if we'd get the blame as the rules state that missing items and such will be charged for, i found the worry of this quite stressful as you are reminded atleast 3 times in the house rules. The proximity to the motorway meant quite a lot of traffic noise all day and all through the night. Overall it is a nice lodge just overpriced. Usable pans and a decent hot tub would of made all the difference to our stay.

The lodge was very well equipped with everything you could think of, including cleaningwashing products, tea coffee, towels, slippers, robes. It was clean, spacious, the hot tub was clean, plenty of space for 6 adults, private, looking out onto the lake, this place is great for all groups including families. Theres a spa pure essence on site which we all used for treatmentswe booked in advanced. We couldnt get into the restaurant until late at night so we went with the chinese that was recommended trungs, which was amazing. All in all was a fantastic get away and would definitely recommend and return in the future. Thank you.
The lodge was booked for a short break with our 10 year old Grandson and friends who have an 11 year old and and under one year old. The communication from the owner from start to finish with comprehensive and clear information about the lodge and the area. On arrival the lodge can only be described as being of an exceptionally high standard and is well equipped throughout with the negative point was not booking a longer stay. The owners should be proud of their high standard and we wish them the very best . We would have no hesitation in booking again and thank the owners for their hospitality.
3 Coniston View surpassed all expectations. We went there well prepared with towels, coffee, tea, condiments and were blown away to see everything we could think of was already there and we were welcome to use them. It is a wonderful property in a lovely location with provisions for everything you could possibly need. A most pleasurable and amazing stay.
Lovely property with great features. Felt like a home. Hosting was by far the best I've experienced. No issues from start to finish. The position of the Lodge right by the waters edge let's you switch off and enjoy the view.
