Ideal for a family holiday or couples sharing, it is set just outside the hamlet of Hutton Hang. The charming village of Finghall, less than 2 miles away, has a traditional pub serving food, and youâ€™ll find excellent independent shops and eateries in Leyburn (4 miles). The hub of this impressive single-storey holiday home is a roomy open-plan living space, furnished in contemporary style with tones of grey and white. Flooded with light from the floor to ceiling windows and patio doors with wonderful views, the lounge houses luxurious sofas and a crackling wood burner, while the streamlined white kitchen has all the mod cons you could need for a self-catered stay. Reverse the stylish dining table to reveal a full-size pool table. The inviting bedrooms comprise a twin with an en-suite shower room and a super-king-size room which can be made into a twin. Its glamorous en-suite bathroom contains a free-standing bath and infrared sauna. Outside, admire the views as you enjoy an indulgent soak in the hot tub and relax on the paved terrace with garden furniture â€“ the perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee. Enjoy a wealth of scenic walks from your doorstep, with a footpath leading directly from the barn. From pretty Finghall station, take the heritage Wensleydale Railway train through rolling hills and beautiful countryside towards the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Take a stroll around picturesque Leyburnâ€™s weekly market and explore two notable medieval landmarks; Bolton Castle, where Mary, Queen of Scots was imprisoned, and Middleham Castle (2 miles), the childhood home of Richard III.

Mouse Manor is an absolute gem! The location is stunning and super easy for exploring the Dales. We loved everything about it, especially the hot tub which we made good use of. Luckily, we had fantastic weather, so we lounged on the very luxurious sofas with our morning coffees. The cottage is really well equipped, boasting a large fridge freezer and a washer dryer in the utility room. We were also delighted with the welcome pack which included a cute wooden mouse in a wicker basket along with some lovely goodies that were nicely presented and branded. Highly recommend this place!
