Edmunds Cottage Reviews

Nicola
Beautiful holiday cottage, very clean, comfortable and homely with enclosed garden and relaxing hot tub. Only downside was the close proximity to the very busy A684 with lots of traffic.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable and in a great location to explore the Yorkshire Dales.
We had a wonderful holiday at Edmunds Cottage. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. The welcome pack on arrival was greatly appreciated too. We would highly recommend a stay here. We look forward to visiting again.
Quaint cottage in a lovely village, well equipped and we really enjoyed the hot tub. However, its definitely not 5 star as anticipated due to the specification of the kitchen and bathroom and quality of the soft furnishings, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the country.
Great cottage and lovely location. No issues at all!
Deborah
We were very disappointed when we arrived as the kitchen and it's contents were quite grubby and needed a good clean. Pots, pans, cutlery not been washed, some needed replacing. So before we had tea we had to clean what we were using. Not what you want when on holiday. Cobwebs and stains in all rooms, needed some TLC to bring upto scratch. Expected better for what we paid. There was lots
Pauline
Lovely cottage very homely home from home comforts beds very comfortable All ... Lovely cottage very homely home from home comforts beds very comfortable All you need to enjoy your holiday lovely touch by the owners to leave a welcome pack on arrival to get you started The only thing I would say is that we could not find any instructions booklet for using the cooker, as the touch screen was very worn and could not read the dials on the hob All in all a very beautiful cottage in a beautiful village with a local pub just a few doors down serving great food too
Rachel
This is a lovely little cottage, clean comfortable and had everything we needed, bacon, butter, bread and biscuits left for us on arrival, hit tub was immense, nice friendly local pub and bedale had lots to offer, I would definitely recommend. Amended a trip to the butchers! Home from home!
Its our 2nd time staying at Edmond cottage and we love it
Thank you. We had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed. However we couldn't work the hob and couldn't find any instructions of how to operate it. This would have been useful.

The bedrooms are very spacious especially the Master bedroom, A lovely big kitchen with everything you need .Hot tub was emaculately clean .and garden table and seating if you want to sit outsid. A very peaceful place to stay.. We will definitely be booking again.
A wonderful property in a beautiful village. The cottage was clean, warm, comfortable, cosy, fantastic! A really well presented spacious property. The hot tub was lovely and warm and secluded from neighbouring properties, a wonderful place to relax under the stars. We will definitely return for another visit.
The cottage was wonderful and we had such a lovely time. Other than a few maintenance jobs everything was perfect. The cottage was clean and in such a lovely area. The hot tub was a bonus. The only thing we would say was we struggled to keep the lid on the hot tub due to the wind and the clips being broken and the jets turned themselves on on several occasions but nothing that impacted on our weekend. Thank you.
This is a lovely cosy little cottage in the heart of a small dales village. We had an extremely comfortable stay, 3 adults and a dog. The hot tub in the garden was amazing. Equipped with everything you require. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival. I would highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.
We would just like to thank the owners for a lovely relaxing weekend at the beautiful Edmunds Cottage. The home really exceeded our expectations, very peaceful and scenic area perfect for quiet walks. Thank you for also the hamper on arrival of the essentials we will definitely be back!!
Outstanding cottage, perfect location. Great facilities at the cottage. Hot tub a great treat
