The accommodation was spotless and everything in place when we arrived. Lovely facilities and extras welcome basket and coffee pods. Shame there isnt a bathroom downstairs as it felt like quite a distance to the toilet, especially through the night. Hot tub was ready for use when we got there and very easy to use, no issues. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots and pans etc which was great for the 11 of us. Lots of space for the kids to run about and have fun and not be restrained in one room!!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable weekend stay at The Old Police House. Plenty of space and good facilities. If I had to mention a slight downside itd be the lack of good pans and trays to cook with. Overall would recommend highly.

We had a fabulous stay at the old police house. The facilities were great, kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was definitely bigger than I thought too. Plenty of games, which the kids loved and the jacuzzi was also a fan favourite. Its right in the village centre, so nothing is more than a couple of minutes away which was ideal and meant we didnt have to use the car much. Well definitely be back for another stay. The Old Police house is a well maintained place, as beautiful as the pictures, different kind of games, online and offline, hot tub was amazing. A good place for a large family or multiple families, walkable distance to the beach. The only downside are the rooms upstairs with no window or ventilation, can be hot and inconvenient especially during summer, we had to open the emergency door for air to come in but wasn't enough as there were not enough fans for the rooms and the one fan was only circulating heat in the house, called the host who promised to get us fans but he didn't show up.

We recently stayed at the holiday home for a weekend getaway to celebrate my mums 60th birthday, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The property itself is spacious, beautifully presented, and allowed the four of us to relax and enjoy quality time together without feeling on top of each other. It really did provide a great setting for a special occasion. That said, there were a few issues that impacted our stay Towels Missing on Arrival There were no towels provided when we arrived, which was a bit inconvenient. However, we appreciated the owner responding quickly and supplying them the next day. Shower Maintenance The shower runner was broken and the door wouldnt close properly, meaning one of us had to assist others while showering to avoid flooding the bathroom. The water pressure was also quite low, which made showering more difficult and timeconsuming. Barbecue Area Unfortunately, the barbecue was in poor conditionunclean and not ready for use. The mesh hadnt been cleaned and the area hadnt been emptied, so we decided to cancel our barbecue plans and cook indoors instead. While these issues were relatively minor, they did stand out more given the premium price of the stay 1500 for the weekend, especially with a late checkin and early checkout. We were just a little disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in these areas. That said, the space itself was excellent and did allow us to have a memorable weekend with family. With a few small improvements, this could easily be a fivestar experience.

The old police house is in a great location, the property itself was very clean although the back yard is looking very tired and could do with refreshing. The mattresses on all of the beds need replacing and a ground floor toilet would have been nice. The photos in the advert make the bedrooms look a lot bigger than they are, this should be advertised for 8x adults and 2x children maximum.

The bedrooms were very warm as no ventilation and a couple of the mattresses could do with changing could feel springs.

The house was exactly what we expected it to be. It has something for everybody. There were certain things that we did not expect that were a nice surprise such as the welcome hamper and coffee pods. There was a highchair, travel cot and safety gate for baby which was a great touch. There was ample space for everyone with plenty of seating, dining areas and bedroom space. The kitchen is large with 2 fridges for fooddrink storage. The games room was great and kept the older children entertained as well as the adults. The only downside is the parking situation which I can imagine is worse in the summer. We only had 2 vehicles but with more it would be a pain. The garage is very spacious for 1 vehicle though. I wouldn't recommend the house for elderly or disabled people as all of the toilets are upstairs, however there are plenty of them! Overall we had a great stay and would definitely visit again.

Great house & great location. Loved how close we were to everything. House was clean, tidy & well presented. Hot tub was great & the kids both older & younger loved the games room setup. Id definitely consider renting this property again. Everything worked and all beds were comfortable. For the one small query I had about bins the owner was prompt & polite. Only negative thing to say is there could be more pans for the kitchen as cooking for the whole group proved a bit of a challenge.

As we have a disabled daughter we were a little upset there was no downstairs toilet, as how it read in the information it somewhat was misleading! Otherwise the place was amazing and very clean and we would recommend you to everyone! One other little thing was there was only one large saucepan in the kitchen. And the hot tub ran out before the end of our stay!

Perfect location and within walking distance to shops, pubs, arcades and beach. The owners were such a great help and replied to any queries straight away. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for all ages, we had a family get together and the games room was great for the kids and when they went to bed the big kids played. Needs better cleaning as we found food under sofa, freezer, down sides of beds and bathroom floors still dirty. 6. Nowhere to plug in freezer because wire wasn't big enough to plug into wall. Was nicely decorated and location was good.

Lovely property nice quite area 5 mins walk to beach & town , 2 faults mattresses need changing, and replace bath for another shower ,with 9 people the waiting time for shower was long with 4 young ladies lol. Bath not really big enough .besides that would come back again would recommend to friends with big families.

A lovely week away meeting up with family. Hot tub, games room and pool table were a big hit with the kids and big kids. A couple of small issues when we arrived but quickly rectified by the owner Charles. Withernsea had lots to offer, we had beautiful weather so made the most of the beach and beer gardens. We were lucky enough to be there when there was a festival and a classic car show. East park in Hull is well worth a visit

Highly recommend this property! My family booked this property as an alternative to the usual holiday campsites that would entertain the younger children and older children age range 2 yrs 15 yrs and so glad we did. This house provides so much from board games, pool table, retro arcade games adults loved! to the jacuzzi, plus so much more. On arrival we was treated with essentials, breakfast cereals, snacks, tea, coffee, wine and beer amazing! The kitchen is well equipped with everything. Every room was furnished to a high standard and we loved all the little touches, including the welcome book with local recommendations which we used. Wifi was great, the garage was spacious and could park my car very comfortably Land Rover. Our only recommendation the jacuzzi jets need maintenance as only one side is powerful so means the rest are just low, but still was enjoyable and didnt feel the need to contact the owners. Couple of minutes walk up the sea front and local shops. Great stay making memories, will 100 book again!

Stayed over for a long weekend. First thing we noticed was that this place definitely had the wow factor! The place has a huge open plan kitchen and living room which was perfect for socialising with all the guests! Every bedroom was beautifully presented, there were Nespresso pods for the machine, and everything was sparkling clean. The hot tub was brilliant, we absolutely loved it! The pool room which also came with an N64, and an arcade machine was fantastic! Nothing was half broken or worn out, you can tell the owner really takes pride in the presentation of the house. Speaking of the owner, they were extremely accommodating with us and helped us out when we had a couple of issues not to do with the house. Were already planning on returning! Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Property is in a great location, 5mins to the beach with Aldi, pubs and arcades very close by on foot. We arrived very late but access was absolutely straight forward and house was warm. We had some queries, although late, Charlie went out of his way to help, he was extremely helpful and made our stay a lot easier. The house has absolutely everything you need, all clean and tidy. Lots of things for kids to do, games room and hot tub was excellent. We will definitely book again.

This house is beautiful inside. It's spacious, well presented and it was warm throughout our stay November 2023 with hot water all day and night. There was everything we might have needed, even a stair gate for our little ones. There is a garage for one car but the on street parking isnt great. The road is extremely tight so if you are staying with multiple families like the house suggests sleeps 12 then good luck finding a parking space not the fault of the owners at all. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the Old Police House but there were a few things that we feel needs mentioning. Firstly, 1 shower for potentially 12 people is not enough. The little ones loved the small quirky bath, and it is tiny, but we thought it needed a shower over it to help cut the adult shower wait time down. Secondly, we had to wash all of the glasses and cutlery as a lot were dirty on arrival. It wasn't just dishwasher remnants, it was greasy finger prints and something sticky was on some of the glasses. Easily sorted but not something you expect. I had to throw one glass away as it was chipped in the cupboard. The cutlery drawer had fluff, hair and crumbs in it so we needed to wash that too. And lastly, the bed we slept in had bedding that smelled very fusty. All these things are easily fixable and were probably isolated to our stay. Thankfully we're all clean people who sorted the issues we could straight away. All in all, it's a gorgeous place, right in the middle of a little seaside resort so don't let these small problems put you off. We had the best time in the end.

The property was lovely, and fantastic bonus of games room which kept kids entertained, for the week. Great location only minutes walk to the shops and beach. A bit snug for 12 people, as sofa bed in upstairs lounge not comfortable and anyone needing the toilet has to walk past you. The parking is a real issue, we should have had access to the garages but no keys were left, so unable to park a car there! We had to park all cars on the street, and they remained there all week as, soon as a car pulled off there were three cars waiting for the space.

Lovely property in walking distance of all the towns facilities. Welcome basket was full of holiday goodies,there was something for everyone.Dogs had great fun on the beach,walks on the old railway track and the lighthouse nearby too.Hot tub needs a service only one set of jets worked properly.

A really lovely cottage, ideal for a big family like ours. Homely touches making it cosy. Very versatile. Responsive and helpful owner. Upstairs bedrooms v small with no windows that got very warm, but okay for a short period of time.
