We had a lovely stay at Swingbridge cottage. The property is very new and every detail has been well thought through. We had 3 elderly relatives with us and it all worked out. We were initially dismayed to find there are two steps up to the main bedroom accommodation which hadn't been anticipated but we were able to lift the stroller up to the next level and they could use the shelf to get up these steps in the absence of a bannister. I don't think anyone would choose this accommodation if they couldn't manage stairs though. Just thought it worth mentioning, as they are not visible in any of the interior photos. The kitchen is well equipped and the appliances we used were easy enough to work out but manuals would be helpful if these are available. The property is about 10 minutes from Brandesburton along a narrow winding lane but very peaceful and it was lovely sitting out on the balcony at all times of the day. There is not much boat activity on the canal but we saw Kingfisher, heron and deer. The otters were too elusive for us but we spent a lot of time hoping to catch a glimpse. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

A wonderful, peaceful location next to the Driffield Navigation. This is truly a 5 star property kept in immaculate order by the owners, with a thoughtfully welcome pack and all the modern appliance for a very comfortable stay. Some good walking in the area with lots to watch on the water. Great views from the first floor balcony of the navigation and surrounding countryside. The hot tube was checked every day. Watch out for the family Otters in the evenings playing on the canal bank. Will be on our list to visit again.

A group of us stayed here for 3 nights it was absolutely amazing. The house itself it just breathtaking. We had an issue with the hot tubs warmth and someone come out the next morning to sort it straight away. The house was spotless ,would definitely recommend to stay here and we will definitely be back!!
