This cottage was perfect in everyway right from the cottage itself to the location it was perfect for travelling to York, Scarborough and Whitby, the local pub is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it and the billage itself was just like loving in a postcard.

Beautiful little cottage. Very clean and had everything you need for a relaxing break. It’s a lovely little quiet village, but easy to get to the coast for Whitby and Scarborough. The fox and hound is less than a minute walk and the food there is very nice. But it is expensive. We did find a lovely pub just 5 months drive away. Called the sun inn. In a village called Normanby. The Sunday roast there was brilliant and a great friendly place. I would definitely recommend This cottage. It’s brilliant. Had a great break.

What a beautiful little cottage situated in a beautiful little village, the cottage is perfect for couples to lose themselves in the tranquility of the North Yorkshire Moors. The village does have a pub/restaurant which I have to say is very very over priced for food and drink but so not let this put you off, Hill View cottage is perfectly situated to explore Pickering, Kirbymoorside and beyond. The cottage itself is stunning, you want for nothing when you enter, tea and coffee are waiting for you, tv, stereo, books and games are all there for your use.The bed is huge, the bathroom has a beautiful shower, the courtyard is an ideal pace to sit and enjoy a drink listening to the swifts or to indulge in the wonderful jacuzzi located in the summer house. All in all we had an amazing holiday, visiting Whitby, Scarborough, Bempton Cliffs RSPB Reserve, Dalby Forest and Goathland ( a must for Heartbeat and Harry Potter fans ).
