Bramhill Barns Reviews

We had a lovely stay at Bramhill barns George the owner was very nice and welcoming No issues at all
Bramhill Barns is a great place to stay for a large family group. The sympathetically converted barn is huge, with more than enough room to dine and cook together, or find your own space. Wellequipped, it has everything you need, the snooker table, the dart board and a large hot tub were a hit with the teenagers. The house was warm and clean. If the house is huge, the garden is enormous, there is a sheltered southfacing courtyard garden with a dining table and charcoal BBQ. There is also a large garden with mature trees and another table, and a large garden big enough for football. Situated in the rural Holderness peninsula, the barn is in a very quiet area. I would advise a supermarket delivery, although there are shops in Preston and Hedon. It's about 8 miles to Hull's museums and waterfrontmarina. Spurn Point is well worth a visit, and we also went to Withernsea, Hornsea, Beverly, Bridlington and Flamborough Head. George and Chrissie were lovely hosts.

Very happy with the stay at this property, lots of room for everyone and loads of the space for the children to play would recommend it .
Lovely spacious accommodation with plenty of rooms and garden spaces to make for a very comfortable stay. Easy for guests to find a secluded space for time alone or to come together as a large group. Well equipped for self catering with a wellstocked shop nearby. Unfortunately, both the pubs in the village have recently closed. Peaceful rural location with rabbits, birds and even a hedgehog spotted in the field behind the house. Lots of board games and jigsaws provided, plus the very popular hot tub and snooker table. A lovely restful rural retreat.

FANTASTIC We have just had a family weekend at this beautiful home. Four generations ageing from 20 months up to 86 years. It is just perfect for everyone. Everyone was sad to leave. The house is huge, spotless and has everything you would need. The bath towels were so thick and soft. I could go on and on it was so perfect. George welcomed us and showed us around explaining how everything works. We will definitely be back, hopefully soon. Thank you George and Chrissie for thinking of everything. Gail, Rob and family

Fabulous and wellequipped property for a family break. Very spacious so people can have their own space or come together round the dinner table or over a game of snooker, of which there were many of varying quality. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the hot tub. Recommend providing a list of local walks. Overall we had a great time.
Richard
The property was excellent, very clean and the owners were very helpful, lovely gardens with lots of space for the grandkids to run and play the whole family had a wonderful stay and would highly recommended this property.
Graeme
Here is a very nice conversation of farm buildings. The facilities were spot on! Hottub and snooker table. Our three families had a great time, even though the weather was a disappointment!! Hull a definite visit looks are deceptive!! All museums are free entrance. Hornsea & Withernsea were typical sea side towns. A very nice property but on the pricey side!
Kathryn
Great holiday house, lots of space to spread out and lots of fun things to do in the cottage itself. Snooker table, dart board and hot tub were well used in fact husband and son were playing snooker right up until departure. We had great weather so enjoyed the outside space a lot as we brought along lots of garden games from home too. The resident wild bunnies in the garden were a delight to watch. We enjoyed exploring the local coastline the beaches are great but not busy at all. The sea was good for swimming in as the depth doesn't drop away. We also hired bikes at Spurn Point and had a great explore there ending up in a lovely cafe at the Discovery Centre. We ate out at The Nancy twice and Nineteen too, also got takeaway fish and chips from Sue's in Hedon all good meals. We also ate in using local produce from independent shops in Hedon. Two huge fridges were great and a big oven and hob area. Knives could do with a sharpen, a few more cereal size spoons and a better peeler were only negatives kitchen wise. Our mixed generation party had a wonderful time and would look to return if still available in future.
A delightful, spacious property thats very well equipped. We were a party of 12, ages ranging from 14 to 80 who had a fantastic 3 day birthday celebration. The snooker table and hot tub cleaned daily by the owner was very popular. Would recommend The Nancy Inn for good food, only a 10 min walk from the barn. Cant fault this place, will definitely be back.
Property was even more beautiful than the pictures showed! George was so accomodating and polite. We would absolutely go back! 11 guests stayed, very spacious, so clean, stunning gardens. We had beautiful weather to make the most of it and felt like we could have been anywhere in the world. So relaxing and tranquil. Amazing, large hot tub, kept clean throughout stay by owner and was ready at great temperature when we arrived! We would absolutely recommend & will certainly be returning in the future!
Fabulous weekend away with friends and our young families. The property was perfect plenty of space for everyone both to get together as a big group and have space to themselves, lovely big outdoor area, everything we could possibly need catered for we didn't think we'd need the washing machine for 2 nights, but with 6 children between us, it did 2 cycles on the first night and we were really grateful to find detergent in the cupboard!. We spent a lovely lazy day at the property, making use of the hot tub and having a kick about in the garden while the dads made use of the fullsized snooker table and dart board! We found plenty to keep everyone entertained, without rushing around to fit as much as we possibly could into one weekend. We also had a lovely meal out at The Nancy, and fun on the nearby play park which wore the children out! On our final day we spent a brilliant few hours in Withnersea, and we're already planning further trips and thinking about who we can take with us next time as the property is suitable for all!

I rented this property for my partners 40th Birthday celebrations. The photos do not do it justice, we all loved the property. Absolutely everything you could need for a break is here. The host, is very welcoming and informative with great communication. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the local pub serves wonderful tasty food. Book this place, you will not be disappointed

This is a fabulous property which has so much space! It was extremely clean and had a great range of amenities. We were a group of 4 adults & 5 children and there was more than enough room for us. There is ablution cloakroom for jackets and shoes which keeps them out of the way, a number of public rooms so everyone could do their own thing. The garden is huge and the house is set back from the main road in a quiet village so is extremely quiet and peaceful. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the showers were great too! I cant fault the property at all I am already looking forward to going back.
Alison

There is a big hot tub which gets cleaned out every day for you . It was my sisters 60th birthday a perfect place to celebrate Found a lovely pub in lelly for Sunday lunch Stag head inn. Would recommend . Overall had a fantastic weekend with family and would stay there again .
Pauline
Superb house with loads of outdoor space for the children to have a great game of football. Hot tub was massive and all the other entertainment features were ideal for a week with a family, ranging from 8years to 70. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area with bowling and golf football at Hull as well as the more popular attractions. Certainly would recommend this property to others.
Mechelle
What an amazing place. Historic barn which was full of original features. It was beautifully furnished and well equipped. Beds were very comfy. There are several different seating areas both inside and out meaning as a group of 11 we had plenty of options. Great kitchen with 2 big freezers which was very handy. Wouldn't change a thing, the owner George was very helpful and friendly definitely recommend this property.
We just came back from a brilliant weekend away, the owner was really friendly and accommodating. The photos don't even begin to tell the whole story of this place its massive and brilliant. Would definitely go back
Claire
A fabulous week away. The house was amazing. So big even with a party of 11 it never felt crowded. The hot tub and gardens where lovely and kept the kids occupied for the whole stay. George the owner was on hand each day and would come check the hot tub every morning. We all cant wait to go back again. Thank you again George your house is truly beautiful.
Gerald
The accommodation is huge with the equivalent of 3 kitchens! The grounds are immaculate and also huge 2 acres of lawns. The owners are extremely helpful and recommended riding stables and other local interests.
Rebecca
Great rooms and plenty of space
Patricia
Bramhill Barnes exceeded all our expectations, it was beautifully furnished with every detail thought about and the whole house was clean and comfortable. Everything was on hand when needed including George the owner who was so helpful. The hot tub was a real bonus, enjoyed by young and old. We really appreciated the out side space, plenty of room for ball games for the whole party to join in. The gorgeous weather was just a bonus, wall to wall sunshine every day. A wonderful holiday and we would definitely go again. Thank you The Briggs family
Super cottage. Has everything you need and more. George the owner is lovely and so helpful Highly recommended
Beverley
Friendly, efficient service from Mr. Rymer, the owner. Fantastic garden too.
Kenneth
Plenty of space, but we could all sit around the dining table together. Unusually well equipped hot tub and snooker table in more or less continuous use. Everything worked except the central heating, but the log fires and underfloor heating meant that nowhere was cold. Brilliant for all ages.
Perfect house for a large group of people, very friendly owners, on hand if you need anything. Comfortable beds and lounge area, hot tub was a lovely way to relax with friends in the evening, very well equipped kitchen everything you would ever need, nice and clean, very nice enclosed garden area. Was a nice and handy 10 mins walk to the local pub and restaurant The Nancy Inn if you want a break from cooking. Would happily return here again
Samantha
We were a group of 10 adults with 3 children and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of room indoors and out for us all. The place is absolutely beautiful, the photos do not do it justice. There is literally everything you need in the house to enjoy your stay, the owners even left toys in there for the kiddies. It was very clean and very comfortabl. We would definitely stay there again!
Twelve of us spent the weekend here, celebrating my 50th birthday. Ages ranged from 16 79 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had a fun filled time. The property far exceeded our expectations, from the snooker table, dartboard and hot tub everything was a hit. We also enjoyed our evening at the local pub The Nancy Inn. Thank you George for looking after us so well, we hope to come back soon. Jane
Fabulous house and gardens. Wonderful for a family get together.
Beautiful and spacious, didnt want to leave the house! The gardens are lovely, there are lots of areas to sit and relax around the house. Surrounded by lovely countryside and views.
Philip
Bramhill barns is a great place to stay, and all our family enjoyed their week there.
As the weather was very poor we really enjoyed being around the house with snooker table and hot tub. Good place to go as a family to catch up with each other
Louise
Literally amazing, the perfect place for a large group. We could not fault this place and we have stayed in so many together over the years. Just the best, so huge with the biggest hot tub!
Joseph
The cottage was better than expected when we arrived and the owners were friendly and welcoming. Good location to get to places in yorkshire but still plenty in the house to do when we stayed in. Overall I would recommend staying at the cottage to anyone and would happily book it again.
From the very first moment when we received the key we felt welcome, the cottage was booked for our party of 8 and the property was perfect with good sized bedrooms and lovely bathrooms including pristine towels and bedding. Space in the cottage was plentiful and we made use of all the amenities including the hot tub, snooker room and gym. We cooked a Christmas dinner for one night of our stay and there was lots of pots, pans and utensils plus a massive utility room and a second giant larder. The dining area was very comfortable and when all the log burners where lit in the lounge, kitchen and dining room it was so cosy. There was plenty of room for parking and the cottage is well placed in a lovely village with two pubs to visit. What a find!!!
Very friendly owners next door if you require anything . Fabulous place
Tracey
