Fill your time with family adventures to the nearby RHS Gardens, historic landmarks and charming villages. As you enter the cottage, youâ€™ll find yourself in the bright and tastefully decorated open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wildlife-themed decor. On one side of the room is a traditional cottage kitchen with dark granite worktops plus a kitchen peninsula with a breakfast bar. Cook a hearty meal for your loved ones and dine together at the chic wooden table with seating for four. Continue into the lounge area to find a plump leather sofa, two comfortable armchairs and a Smart TV. Upstairs is a family bathroom with a claw-foot free-standing bath, plus two airy bedrooms â€“ a king-size with a TV and en-suite, and a twin room with a TV. Outside, youâ€™ll find a gravelled terrace and a lawn with furniture and a hot tub. During your rural escape in the small village of Glasshouses, wander around the village and stop at the local art gallery before enjoying a walk along the River Nidd. Take your little ones to Pateley Bridge (1.5 miles) to find the oldest sweet shop in England. Admire the RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr (13 miles), then browse the boutique and antique shops and enjoy a pick-me-up in the tearooms or cafes. History enthusiasts shouldnâ€™t miss a visit to the Nidderdale Museum (1.5 miles) and Druidâ€™s Temple (14 miles). You could also hike around Brimham Rocks (3 miles), Nidd Gorge (13 miles) and Nought Moor (2.5 miles).

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. From the moment we arrived, the stress just melted away. The views are breathtaking, perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink while listening to birds and watching rabbits hop around. Inside, it's warm, cosyand super clean - very comfortable indeed. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring Nidderdale. Honestly, it's a fantastic spot for a peaceful getaway. Would definitely return!

The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and really well equipped. The views from the windows are just gorgeous and even though the cottage is on a farm, it's so quiet. There's loads of wildlife for the enthusiasts too. The hot tub is such a welcome relief after returning from one of the many walks Nidderdale has to offer!

What a lovely little cottage this is, nestled on a small holding! The owners live next door and were super friendly, always helpful but never intrusive. The beautiful scenery right on the doorstep is a treat, plus there's an abundance of wildlife (don't forget your binoculars!). We found the kitchen to be very well equipped, with a large fridge and a decent sized freezer. The beds were comfortable and the shower in the en-suite was good. The hot tub was clean and well maintained, which we appreciated. We made good use of Netflix on the rainy nights we had. We will definitely be returning as there's lots to do and see in the surrounding area!
