The outdoor space is ideal for taking in the views, offering furniture for alfresco dining, as well as the added opulence of a relaxing wood-fired hot tub, from which you can enjoy stunning sunrises and starry skies. Be sure to take in your surroundings, where you may even see some of the resident wildlife on the property; Canadian geese, woodpeckers, red kites and buzzards can all be seen from Willow, and you might even spot the affectionately named Harriet the hare. To see the local red kites in action and during feeding time, there is a variety of feeding centres to choose from, including Bwlch Nant yr Arian, which is conveniently en-route to Aberystwyth, Gigrin Farm, which offers some of the most spectacular views of the Wye and Elan Valleys just half a mile from the charming market town of Rhaeadr Gwy (Rhayader) (known as the outdoor capital of Wales), and Valley View Falconry for a day amongst these fascinating birds of prey. If you’re looking to pop out and be back at Willow in time for sunset, you can find a Post Office and general stores within walking distance to stock up on your essentials, as well as the Grade II listed, 16th-century Bluebell Inn for some traditional pub grub when you don’t fancy cooking. The neighbouring market town of Llanidloes is just five miles away, with the option of a scenic route along the old road, or if you’ve brought your bike along, you can follow the picture-perfect Cycle Route 8 from the pod, straight into the town. The Wild Oak Café is popular amongst the locals and visitors, for its vegan and vegetarian options and barista coffee. Llanidloes is the first town on the River Severn, counting from the source. What a lovely stay our family of 5 had at Willow. It is spotlessly clean and has everything that you need for a relaxing and comfortable break.
Staying at the Willow was absolutely amazing, the location was 1010, the views, the facilitys, the welcoming feeling, everything about it was brilliant. The location allows travel to various amazing walks, views, activitys and little towns to visit. I couldnt recommend it enough. We spent our early evenings playing card games, badminton, waiting for the hot tub to heat up and cooking dinner with an incredible view. It was amazing, we cannot wait to go back!!

This is our second vist at willows as a family this is perfect to just get away and be a family out in nature the hosts go above and beyond to make our stay perfect nothing was to much trouble for them will definitely be returning for a third visit
It was magical, I cant even describe how amazing this place was. Well equipped and clean. The view was insane Despite the good weather that we had willow was so cozy and comfortable. Thanks Gemma and family xx
Wales was a truly magical experience. Nestled in the peaceful hills near Llangurig, this glamping pod is the perfect blend of cozy comfort and natural beauty. The pod itself is beautifully designed modern, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly spacious. The thoughtful layout includes a wellequipped kitchen, a comfy lounge area, and lovely bedrooms that make it feel like a home away from home. What really sets it apart, though, is the location. Waking up to sweeping countryside views and spending evenings soaking in the private woodfired hot tub under the stars was absolute bliss. Its wonderfully secluded, offering a real sense of escape, yet close enough to explore nearby gems like the Elan Valley and Hafren Forest. Every detail, from the welcoming atmosphere to the peaceful surroundings, made it feel like a special retreat. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway where you can truly unwind and reconnect with nature, Willow at Hidden Gem Escapes is just perfect.

Willow is an excellent place to stay to explore the beautiful countryside in the area. It has everything you need in a great setup, with lovely touches that show the owners are really keen to look after their guests. The kids enjoyed all the space around Willow to play games, the local milkshakes and we all enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day.
Absolutely loved our stay Gemma is so lovely. We will be back
We absolutely loved the pod which is in such a beautiful spot. The pod was spotlessly clean including beautifully clean soft furnishings throughout and the attention to detail made for such a relaxing stay. Our young boys loved riding their bikes and playing football, along with the hot tub, firepit and milkshakes! Thank you for going above and beyond to make it such a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay in the Willow Pod in North Wales! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. We were delighted to find the hot tub ready and waiting for us upon arrival. The pod itself was cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect base for our family getaway.
Such an amazing stay in a beautiful setting. We had such a relaxing time at Willow, everything we needed and more! The pod really is a hidden gem, so comfy & cosy yet more than enough room for our family of 4, with the most amazing surroundings & views, especially when relaxing in the hot tub which was also 1 of our highlights! So much space for my boys to play football too, they had a great time! We really didnt want to leave
Willow is our new favourite place! Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights in August. The owners Gemma and Mark have literally thought of everything to make sure their guests stay is just perfect. From delicious chocolates on the bed to prosecco and cider chilling in the fridge and not forgetting the marshmallows, crisps and Welsh cake that also greeted us! what a lovely touch to welcome us to our beautiful holiday home. The hot tub is AMAZING!! Gemma and Mark pre lit it for our arrival so it was ready for us to get in when we arrived. Which we did! We spent lots of time in it relaxing and looking at all the stars of an evening. It was just perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was great, it has excellent kitchen facilities with everything you need and all in all we had the most wonderful relaxing time here and we will definitely be returning soon!

It was our first time to stay in a pod and we are very glad to have chosen Willow. We felt very welcomed as we entered the pod. The owners have put a very outstanding effort in making sure that guests have just the relaxing break they need. Everything in the pod was excellent. We had a fab time in the hot tub 1 whilst the sun was shining as well as 2 whilst it was raining. This place is really worth a try especially for the nature lovers out there. The location is perfect as there are lots of places to visit i.e. Elan Valley. 2 nights were not enough to explore the beauty that surrounds this place. Thanks to this hidden gem escape for giving us a wonderful experience. We will be back.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was immaculate and tidy, the pod was comfortable and beautifully decorated, making our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic and cozy getaway. We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be back! Thanks Gemma!
