Walworth Castle Lodge Reviews

Stefan
The Lodge was spotless on arrival, so much space with the 2 living rooms, TVs in all bedrooms was nice also. Garden was great for our dog, hot tub was clean & maintained all week, hotel staff were excellent when we needed anything, we also had a lovely meal at the hotel. There are a few things that would have made our stay perfect, no smart TVs in living rooms so you cant watch Netflix or other apps, no place mats, lack of cleaning cloths, no hand wash, the floor in the kitchen has a few lumps in it, if these minor things could be improved it would be absolutely perfect.
Melanie
Excellent stay as always
Great place to stay, hot tub is a lovely addition. The garden is very large and we enjoyed sitting outside as weather was warm. Plenty of space for our dog to enjoy the garden as well.Good parking at the side of property. House is a good size and we really enjoyed having the two lounges. One small point is there did need to be some more cutlery and also some more mugs a few more would be helpful otherwise you are constantly washing up. Other than that everything was perfect.
Large property with own parking away from main hotel. Plenty of space for families but lacking in cups six for six people not sufficient. Own rear garden with hot tub, not used but families and children supervised would love it. Hotel restaurant and bar available with large beer garden. Short car journey to Darlington with several supermarkets in the town Weather was perfect !
Carole
