Everything is a 5 star plus down to the staff in the Blackwell Ox we couldnt thank you guys enough for the amazing stay, alls id say is do your research this place needs people with a car or make sure you are fully prepared for a stay with no shops for milk and basics but wow the food inside the black well ox 1000000 or of 10 amazing the staff were amazing and soon helpful thank you so much and 100 percent privacy I asked my partner to marry me while we stay and I did the right outside near the rest of the cabins were other ppl were staying and we were left to our own devices to bask in our own little love bubble so again thank you so much we hope to see you all again ! !

So peaceful everything you need to relax and unwind we will definitely book again loved every minute.

This place is a hidden gem. Located in a part of North Yorkshire that I had never been to before. The area was so quiet and relaxing, just to be able to switch of from things was lovely. The lodge was very cosy, clean and spacious. The bed comfortable and the wifi fully working and was able to contact family abroad, great. As for the pub, the staff attentive, the food was always tasty and very well presented. The venue was very accommodating, and people very helpful. Was sad to leave the place.

Holiday lodge was great apart from the layout of the bathroombedroom. We both found it not pleasant to share the bathroom facilities with the bedroom area. Would not come back for this reason. Suggest they block the bathroom off from the bedroom, there is room to do this
