Sleeping six guests, the cottage benefits from a sun-soaked, private, courtyard garden and shared wider grounds with a play area. Wander inside the enticing stone haven to find beautiful, exposed stonework and beams complemented by sumptuous furniture and furnishings. Head into the lounge, where sunlight streams in through the large windows, to light the open fire and sink back into the comfortable seating. Watch TV, read your books or play a game together as the fire crackles gently in the background. This cottage was absolutely fabulous! It was warm and cosy, with plenty of room inside. The kitchen might be a bit tight for seating six, but since there were only two of us, it wasn't a problem at all. The three bedrooms were really big, with loads of cupboard space. The two bathrooms were very warm and cosyand the showers were really hot and powerful. We were surrounded by lovely countryside and met some really friendly people. We had a wonderful few days there and would definitely recommend it for a lovely short break.

It would be great if the company made it clear in the advertising that this was a wedding venue. We were really grateful for the upgrade to the barn since there were two weddings happening during our stay. Some of the facilities in the house could have been better. We had issues ranging from quite serious scalding hot water to more trivial things like a tricky kitchen that was missing a few basic items. The location was quiet and tranquiland the hot tub was well-maintained. We would definitely book again!
