Just returned from a 3 night break and everything was perfect. The pod was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The setting is perfect, lovely and peaceful but within reach of Lancaster. We enjoyed BBQs and the hot tub despite the weather being a bit hit and miss. Diane is lovely and cant do enough for you, thanks for the lovely cupcakes. Its the little touches that make this place. Shame we didnt get to visit Farmyard Brew Co. We were planning on going on our first night but the rain was torrential so we didnt bother. We will definately be back, soon hopefully. We took the bus into Lancaster one day less than 10 min walk to main road to catch it times are provided in the information book. All in all we had a lovely relaxing break and cant wait to return. Diane and family have certainly got the most amazing place. Thanks for a lovely stay Linda & Mark x

I wanted to plan a trip to totally relax and that is what I got with this stay. It was so peaceful and was lovely to wake up to the animals. The hot tub was also a lovely touch. Diane was a great host and recommended nearby places to visit. I would love to come back for another stay soon.

Absolutely fantastic best relaxing weekend we have had in a long time. Nothing bad at all to say. Diane was lovely did more than enough to make our little stay so nice. Mallard view was spotlessly clean on arrival. We were met by Diane , the owner , who had been very helpful throughout the booking process. The pod itself is exceptionally well equipped for a 2 person stay . Hot tub made it a very relaxing stay . Within walking distance of Farmyard Brewery half mile which would recommend , anywhere else a vehicle is essential or bus nearby. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

It was amazing! ! If your thinking of booking that away trip with your significant other or friends then do it!! Hosts were so lovely and the pods themselves AMAZING! So nice and cozy, pub not too far away but we booked plenty of things to do during the day so getting back to relax and use the hot tub was just the perfect treat!

I thought this place was perfect. .. I came on my own for peace and quiet and thats exactly what I got. The family are v kind and welcoming and are available should you need them. I will definitely be coming back again.

This stay was everything we needed. Absolute relaxation, beautiful landscapes around us, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, the pod itself was amazing. Really warm and cosy and great attention to detail. Also some lovely little cakes and Easter egg left by incredible and welcoming host. Absolutely 1010 and will be returning!

We had a really good time. The hosts have made some really great places to stay they are clean, tidy and warm underfloor heating with a really good shower and great hot tub. They emailed detailed instructions before our stay, greeted us on arrival and told us about a local brewery on a farm with a nice bar within walking distance which was also excellent. The surrounding area is also beautiful. I would highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of November 2023. We were met by Diane who was very friendly and explained everything to us. The Pod and Patio was exceptionally clean. The facilities inside were perfect with everything supplied, and the cup cakes left for us was a nice gesture. The Hot tub was very clean and so relaxing. The weather was cold and wet but this didn't matter as we were warm and cosy inside the Pod. We enjoyed the experience and would like to go back sometime in the future.

We had a 2 night stay at mallards view the property was nice and clean and had everything you needed, the owner was very informative about was was available in the local area, we would definitely recommend these pods if like us you want a nice relaxing hot tub mini break!

Such a lovely stay and Diane couldnt have been more accommodating! Bed was so comfortable and the whole place top to bottom was clean. So welcoming and friendly on arrival and were available for contact when needed. Lovely little cakes made that we had when we arrived. Hot tubs checked each morning and had so much information for us about where to go and stuff to do in the area. Lovely waking up the animals outside each morning so was such a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Left a glass behind as well and they were happy to post it back couldnt ask for anymore! Will be coming back again this year!
