About Low Pasture Cottage

In a serene, rural destination, Hudswell is just 2.5 miles from the vibrant town of Richmond and offers direct access to Swaledale and Wensleydale beauty spots. The property is a simply stunning hideaway for two guests, complete with sophisticated touches including a hot tub and a sauna pod in the enclosed, private garden. Fill your days with endless hikes, bike rides and wildlife-spotting adventures across The Dales before coming home to rest and recharge with long, rejuvenating soaks and nights snuggled up in the front of the property’s Smart TV. A delicate blend of rustic character and modern decor are combined in this two-storey property, a place with bright pops of colour in the furnishings and feature accents on a backdrop of exposed stone walls. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers plenty of space to spread out with three clearly defined areas for cooking, dining and unwinding, complete with patio doors leading out into the well-furnished, always-enclosed garden. After an evening spent relaxing indoors or out, move on up to the first floor and get ready for bed. The bedroom offers a spectacular super-king-size bed to ensure a great night’s sleep is had by all. There’s also an en-suite bathroom with further invigorating facilities including a double-ended, free-standing bath. Walk or drive 2.5 miles along a country lane to reach Richmond town centre, a destination with a castle, a pretty waterfall on the River Swale and an endless selection of quality shops, pubs and restaurants. On the edge of town visit Easby Abbey (4 miles), a preserved monastery surrounded by never-ending greenery. In the opposite direction, move into The Dales to reach the scenery of Bolton Castle (11.5 miles) or Aysgarth Falls (14.5 miles).
