Featherstone House in Darlington Reviews

What a wonderful stay. Fully equipped house with plenty of room both indoors and outdoors. The hot tub and barbecue were welcome additions. The house is much bigger than it looks on photos. We had 8 of us staying together and had ample room to converse and also have our own breathing space. Although located just off a main road , apart from traffic it was a quiet stay. The area itself had local amenities such as supermarkets and takeaways within a 5to 8 minute drive. We found an indoor leisure centre which had bowling, golf, trampolining etc just 5 minutes drive away, reasonably priced. No obvious local walks but we used the house as a base to visit other areas. I would definitely book again and have already recommended to family and friends.

What a fantastic home, equipped with everything you need. Spacious but yet cosy and homely. Fantastic garden, safe and secure for both kids and dogs. The hot tub was a hit for my family, clean, private and well maintained. Lots of outdoor seating/loungers/dining area along with a coal fire BBQ.Overall cannot fault this house in anyway, tastefully decorated, comfortable bedding and great location to explore Yorkshire. You will not regret booking this property ??
