Dragonfly Reviews

We really enjoyed our stay at Dragonfly,It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was already up to temperature when we got there and beautifully clean, just one suggestion maybe put a canopy of some sort over it so it can be used even if its raining. We had a few issues while we were there but they were sorted out immediately.Anna and Mikey where absolutely amazing and so was Andy .We would definitely book a stay there again.

We had a lovely break away at the Drangonfly, very comfy with beautiful surroundings. Host was immediately there if there was anything we needed and it was a great base for seeing some of the surrounding areas. We've made some happy family memories this holiday. Thanks so much.
Denise
We stayed for 5 nights in July, the site is lovely & peaceful with plenty of villages to visit nearby. The lodge was very clean & modern and the bed comfortable. The hot tub was sunken into the decking making it easier for access. It's sheltered too as it was quite windy one day of our stay. The enclosed decking area was secure for our labrador puppy, he enjoyed nosing out across the site which gave him a perfect view point. There is also a big field up a hill behind the lodges to walk your dog. We spotted deer and rabbits and the view up there is great. We will definitely return as its the perfect spot for visiting towns, also has supermarkets 10 min away. A lovely quiet site, not too overcrowded with your own private space to chill on the verandah.
Deborah
Gorgeous lodge on a very picturesque quiet site. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and we made full use of the hot tub whilst there!
Claire
Hi, we had a wonderful stay just what we needed as a family after a tough start to the year the lodge was immaculate as is the site. The only criticism would be our hit tub was to dirty to use , we went in it the sat we arrived and didn't really use it again but this is more just to let you have polite feedback and not ato complain in anyway . We struggled in the bed but only as its a bit small for us but other than that we throughly enjoyed it and would happily recommend you xx
Myself, partner and small well behaved dog stayed here for a 1 weeks break and rest, and that we got. The lodge is spacious and very clean with a fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons and accessories. Both bedrooms are generous in size The twin room consists of 2 full size single beds plus a full size wardrobe with much room still free within the room. The double bedroom has a walk in closet space and again is spacious and clean. With the positioning of the lodge and the path of the sun, the bedrooms are shaded during the day which helps with a cooler environment, ideal even. The bathroom is rather large, with a good sized Large bath, an over bath power shower which was great! The living room and kitchen area is open, airy and spacious yet cosy and welcoming at the same time. The Sofa was rather comfortable, and ideally placed in front of a radiator in the evenings, it was like the sofa was plugged in as the heat radiated through. There is also a electric fireplace heater. Lots of local information and places of interest in the folder under the coffee table, we visited 3 places from the leaflets and throughly enjoyed our days out, as much as the days we stayed in. The TV has access to Netflix, YouTube etc so lots to flick through. The hot tub is placed at the back of the lodge and gets some sun late mornings and into the earlymid afternoon. Ideal for privacy when you just want to relax and soak. There is also a family sized outdoor dining table and 4 chairs by the hot tub, and there was still lots of space on the balcony area of the hot tub. Overall we were very happy with the lodge, the owners communications, and the site in general, which is very well maintained in all areas. There is a nice stroll within the grounds, idealnfor daily dog walks or just a daily stroll in general. There is a BBq area which is communal which is just by a little stream, with lots of open space yet still private and not to close to anyone else, just buy charcoal and food and tidy up afterwards and you will enjoy the space. The neighbours to the left used to be the managers of the park, for a long time but have now retried. Spoke briefly with the lady, who was welcoming and pleasant to chat to, we would return for sure. Hopefully in the summer. Great holiday park, welcoming staff and residents. It's a nice quite and peaceful site, so if it's something more than a retreat, this wouldn't be for you. Thank you.
