This was our second stay at Dale Cottage and we loved it just as much as the first time. The cottage has a lovely homely feel and is in a great location for visiting places. The welcome pack was also a lovely surprise. The only two small issues were that the Hot tub does have a small leak, which does make the ground outside constantly wet. But I would like to stress this doesn't effect the enjoyment of using it. Also the fridgefreezer is rather small if you are staying for the week but again not really a massive issue just something to bear in mind when doing your food shop.

A few nights away with my sister in this FABULOUS property. We were wowing from the minute we opened the front door. Beautiful clean accommodation lovely furniture and fittings generous welcome pack and of course hot tub with the great view of the garden and surrounds. We would have no hesitation in returning or recommending. Thank you for your hospitality!

I think this is now our 3rd or 4th stay at your property over the last 12 months and we love it it is perfect for a week away. However, we have noticed the quality and cleanliness of the features to have reduced over this time the hot tub is leaking and requires topping up after a few days same as a few months ago, the welcome hamper has been reduced, cookware etc seems to be less each time and lower quality, less cleaning materials only a few dishwasher tablets etc and just general cleanliness before arrival seems to be less in a few areas. We also had issues with Sykes in trying to contact them and them not returning our messages and then threatening to cancel our booking due to no response? Overall, the cottage is wonderful and we do love it so thank you!.

This is our second visit to Dale cottage we loved it then and still do the high quality of everything it's home from home the garden for the dog inclosed . What can I say about the hot tub wonderful . I would recommend this cottage to all ages pub just down the road we had few trips out and found a wood to walk the dog at Staindrop just before you go on main road . My only niggle could not find key for garden shed .

The cottage was gorgeous,decorated for Easter which was lovely. Very clean and homely.

The cottage was everything and more than we expected. It was very well equipped with all the home from home comforts. The welcome basket on arrival was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The outside space and hot tub were fantastic with lovely views to the rear of the cottage. The property is in a lovely little village and we would definitely book again.

Dale Cottage was absolutely stunning, a perfect home from home for our little Christmas get away. The decorations made our stay even more perfect, the owners had thought of everything. Can not recommend this property enough, we will definitely look to book again in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, has everything you need and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Stunning decor and well maintained. I do agree with the light on the morning, could do with a blind on the landing window in the summer as it sines right through to the bedroom first thing. Would definitely recommend!!

An absolutely stunning cottage with beautiful scenery all around. We could not fault anything, we had everything we needed inside the cottage and a lovely hot tub in the enclosed garden which we also enjoyed with our dog. We met some lovely friendly people in the village and saw some amazing places on our trips out. The welcome gifts on our arrival were so thoughtful. We would love to return there for more adventures.

Overall the cottage was great and the views amazing. For me, personally I struggled with the lack of curtains upstairs and the early morning light, but with those views I understand why it is like that.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, really cosy with everything you could possibly need, more so thanks to the welcome treats and seasonal decor! The neighbours were lovely and the local pub Black Horse staff were friendly, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The hot tub was excellent quality and privately located. An ideal location to access the beautiful North East, High force falls were staggering and Barnard Castle is well worth a visit. Would love to come back again.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. The property was clean and well presented throughout with everything we needed. The rooms are bright and airy and very comfortable. The welcome pack was a lovely touch that was fully appreciated. The local pub is a must for a meal out but make sure you book in advance!

Another good stay. This was our second stay in this lovely cottage. The hot tub is real bonus. The welcome pack and the Easter decorations were nice touches. The neighbours and the locals in the nearby pub were welcoming and friendly. The only improvement I could suggest would be a full sized freezer as the ice box in the fridge is a little small when staying for a full week although I appreciate that limited space might make this impractical. Lovely cottage, hot tub was fab. The welcome pack was a kind touch on arrival, our dog Kelly loved the treats. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing stay as the cottage had everything we needed and was in a great location to enjoy days out at the seaside and explore the local area. Myself the Mrs and Marley cannot fault this property. We stayed over Xmas in 2022 and 2023 and the property owners made it feel very festive by putting a tree up for us and other Xmas things which was really appreciated. The cleanliness is amazing aswell it smelt so fresh when you arrived. The hot tub very well kept and pure luxury and the cottage had every thing you needed from cutlery to towels and there was even fresh bread for us and prosecco for Xmas dinner oh and the dinner table had Xmas crackers on for us. Highly recommended and the comments book in the cottage was full of praise aswell. Thankyou to the owners of Dale cottage for a memorable Xmas from John Donna and Marley.

We had an absolutely fantastic time away in your lovely cottage! It had everything we needed and it was so cosy with the fireplace and Christmas decorations. We went for our honeymoon and it was perfect a relaxing week away the hamper was a really wonderful touch. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dale cottage. All the finishing touches and amenities make this cottage stand out above the rest. The hot tub is fantastic and really good to relax in after a day out. The Black Horse is good for food, beer and great atmosphere. All in all a fantastic week

Overall we were very satisfied with the cottage. Apart from the issues we discussed with both Sykes and the owner it was a nice stay. A very nice touch to arrive to a gift basket! Decent parking space at the front of the property lovely views to the rear and the cottage was tastefully decorated and even had Halloween pumpkins etc for us as our stay coincided with Halloween. If we had to point out any slight negatives the toilet flush was faulty and so after flushing you had to lift the handle otherwise the water would continue to flow, Downstairs there was no clothes airer to dry clothes with minor point but as there were no blinds at the back windows it did feel a little like living in a gold fish bowl. Fine for your morning views but not so great at night with the lights on when people walking dogs can see right in which brings me on to the hot tub. As there is no outdoor cover as soon as you walked back into the house there was no where to get changed or dry off you were straight into the kitchen. Luckily there was a stone floor but we had to make sure we had towels at the ready so as not to drip through the house. Plenty of games for rainy days though which was great. Overall we had a nice stay,

Home from home Welcome pack was a nice touch.could you leave a basic instructions for hot tub example of time takes to heat and use if the the control panel and how to lift the lid as its very heavy not a complaint but just feed back x beautiful views and very quiet.

Excellent property. Very high standard of decoration and facilities. Extras left by the homeowner added the finishing touches and made for very good stay. Ideal if looking for peace and quiet and good place for visiting in the area.

Dale Cottage was immaculate, and it was definitely the cleanest holiday home that we have stayed in. The welcome basket was lovely and the treats for the pooches too. Hot tub was great at the end of the day. We were blessed with gorgeous weather, so we were able to enjoy the views outside relaxing. Ingleton is a lovely village with friendly residents the neighbours either side are lovely. All in all everything had been thought off by the Owners and we had a great holiday.

Dale cottage is absolutely stunning. The location in the pretty village of Ingleton is an ideal base for walks as well as day trips for our family of 4! The cottage itself has everything you could want and has been renovated to the very highest standards whilst maintaining some original features to give a cosy feel. The hot tub is great as is the spacious and sunfilled back garden. The welcome pack was an added bonus and it just felt like everything had been carefully considered to give guests the best possible stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return again. Thank you!

Dale cottage is a beautiful immaculate cottage with everything you could possibly need and more for a perfect break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it is in a picture perfect little village with plenty of walks on th3 doorstep, a fantastic playground nearby and a great base to explore the area. The view from the garden was stunning. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise on arrival, everything had been thought of, plenty of board games to play, even the lovely detail of the dining table being set. I would highly recommend this cottage and would stay here again.

As others have said beautiful cottage well equipped. Fantastic hot tub.Great location to explore the many activities in the surrounding area. Especially the Bowes museum and Raby Castle.. Although no charging of electric cars at the cottage lots of fast chargers at local supermarket,more expensive but very convenient. Very generous welcome pack. Beautiful views from large un curtained window and open glass panel in bedroom which were fabulous but if you don't like waking early not so appealing. . Although the garden at the back faces open countryside the traffic noise in the bedroom first thing in the morning was rather intrusive. Would have been useful to have instructions re appliances and Oven gloves. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely return and recommend to others.

Our second wonderful stay at Dale Cottage! What a beautiful home. Sweet location and all the amenities you could need, plus decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Last time we visited in winter, so to visit in Summer was absolutely wonderful and fun to see a change of seasonal decorations owners attention to detail is second to none. Cant wait to visit again soon!

We loved our stay it was clean comfortable bed hot tub was fantastic we appreciated the welcome pack only niggle couldn't get into shed for mop & bucket to wash floor . We ate at The Black horse food wonderful . Will return .

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Very clean, everything you need for self catering holiday. Hot tub & wood burner we really enjoyed. Beautiful garden with lovely view. Shower door was leaking. Would definitely consider stopping here again. Sorry, didnt mention welcome pack, which was really lovely & thankyou.

Gorgeous property in a beautiful location. Inside is warm, cosy and welcoming. The hot tub is absolutely a must if you stay here!. We was pleasantly surprised to see milk, coffee and teabags on our arrival!, more impressive was the extras ..fresh baked bread, fresh orange, jam, eggs, biscuits, shortbread and hot chocolate. The bedrooms are lovely no need to take bedding there was also ample towels. The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher. The lounge is lovely and we liked the open plan . Have already and would recommend. You will not be disappointed. Thank you
