Coach House Cottage Reviews

An excellent holiday accomodation within walking distance of the popular town of Ingleton. Hosts very sociable and helpful. Minor drawbacks for some would be the number of stairs in this split level property. The kitchen is too small for a party of six with only room for one person at a time and would benefit from the addition of a dish washer. There is really only room for one car 'off road' but there is plenty of parking on the road. The hot tub was a real success..

The Coach House is welcoming and homely. The kitchen is tight but really well equipped. For 6 adults it was ideal having 3 bathrooms and the towels are big and fluffy, also separate outdoor towels for the hot tub are provided. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bath is big and luxurious, with nice lotions included. Lots of books and games on offer for evening entertainment and hosts that were really quick responding to queries, even when they were on holiday themselves!
All as described and the hot tub at the end of a walking day was so relaxing. Perfect position for Ingleton waterfall walk and the caves. Lovely village with a few eatingdrinking options. Would stay again.
Great cottage. Very quirky. Owners very friendly. In great position for walking and lots of other facilities.

Had a lovely stay the owners went above and beyond to make the holiday a success
Just returned from a fantastic 6 day stay at Coach House Cottage in Ingleton. On arrival we were met by Lisa and Ryan, the owners who live in the main house next door. A lovely couple who were always on hand to assist, but never intrusive. There was also a nice welcome pack. The cottage is very cosy, with its quirky layout, which is long and narrow with little elevation changes to the three separate bedrooms. The kitchendiner is on the lower level at the back and is approached by a fairly steep staircase. The kitchen whilst quite compact, is very nice and new, with everything that you could possibly need. Decent mobile reception and WIFI signal is fine and free. There are terrestrial TVs in the lounge and each bedroom, but can't comment as didn't use them. The rear patio is a beautiful sun trap with new furniture, hot tub, barbeque and great views of the river and the old viaduct. We had Roxy our very inquisitive Staffie with us. Whilst she was made very welcome and allowed full access to the whole property, including the gardens and the lower level terraces leading to the river, security may be an issue for some, if your dog is a wanderer or a cat chaser. There are however sliding privacy screens which would contain all but the most enthusiastic escapees. The beautiful village centre is a ten minute walk away, with good dogfriendly pubs, friendly locals, fantastic bakery and two Coop's. Easy access to lots of great walks. We did The Waterfall Trails, Ingleborough, White Scar Cavesnot dog friendly and Malham Covea short drive away. We would have no hesitation in recommending Coach House Cottage and will definitely be returning.
Angela
Fantastic holiday rental, clean, beautiful location and with amazing views! Lisa the owner was so welcoming and friendly even checking we got home safely after our 3 peaks walking challenge! We would definitely stay here again
Coach House cottage is a lovely quirky cottage. The facilities were great. Three bedrooms with their own bathrooms were ideal. Lisa and Ryan were excellent hosts, the couple of little things we asked about were sorted straight away.
The owners of this property are truly lovely and live next door. The view from the garden is gorgeous and you can walk down to the river. The cottage is really lovely and has 3 en suite double bedrooms which are all great sizes. This is not a 4 storey town house as advertised this nearly put us off due to thinking it had lots of stairs but is a cosy and quirky cottage set out over a few different levels with a few steps between each. But it has less stairs than most 2 storey houses, so don't let that put you off. Currently this property does not have an enclosed garden as advertised, but the lovely owners are planning to make it enclosed very soon. The owners left lots of nice touches and gifts and comforts in the holiday cottage, which were much appreciated. The main bedroom has a very comfy bed can't speak for the other rooms as only used one there is a lovely hot tub for the cottage use. This location is great for the Ingleton waterfalls walk. Would highly recommend.
