The open-plan living space has been well configured, providing guests with cosy seating nestled around the double-width wood burner for those snuggly nights in front of the Smart TV. At the other end of the room, the modern shaker-style kitchen welcomes even the most advanced of chefs to rustle up something tasty, while the breakfast bar offers seating for intimate dinners for two. The hot tub is particularly inviting after days of hiking in the Dales, especially when the stars begin to appear in the night sky. On the mezzanine floor, tucked under the sloping eaves, a welcoming bedroom awaits with chunky exposed beams and a sumptuous king-size bed to melt into at the end of the day. In the morning, make use of your Nespresso machine before sipping your coffee out on the large patio. It's tucked away in a quiet village, which made it even more relaxing. Highly recommend!

The place was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated - quite cosy really. The hosts had thought of everything, including a fantastic welcome basket that beats any we've had before. Its location is perfect for exploring Yorkshire, with plenty of walks nearby for the dog. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

The view from the back patio is stunning, especially if you've got a dog with you - the paddock is perfect for walks. The house itself was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, plus the garden was perfect for our little dog to roam safely. The hot tub was a real treat after long walks. Also, the local pub, The Crown Inn, at the end of the driveway wasn't listed but was a lovely surprise. The hosts made us feel really welcomeand that Sunday roast hit the spot. Definitely a five-star stay for us!
